Elder Paz

Called to Serve in the Texas McAllen Mission!
It was Courtney's Farewell last Sunday. He did such a Great job on his talk! I can't believe he is going on his mission.

He had lots of Friends and Family come to hear him speak.

My friend Rachael make really good Sugar cookies so we had her make 7 Dozen Texas shaped Sugar Cookies for his open house. I went over on Friday night and helped her frost all of them like the Texas flag. The little star at the bottom is where he will be serving his mission! It took us quite awhile to frost these but the turned out Super Cute!

Wow, I can't believe how grown up he is. He is the little baby of our family and now he will be gone for 2 years. Courtney has been the little cook for our family we sure are going to miss that!

I'm going to miss having him around all the time. You could always count on Courtney to play games or hang out with you!

This was the night he was set apart as a Missionary!

Here we are at the MTC. Since you don't get to go inside the MTC anymore to drop your Missionary off we hurry and parked our car and ran across the street to get a picture.

I am so Proud of him for deciding to Serve a Mission. I know the people in Texas will blessed by his Service.

We just had to drop him off at the curb. There were other Missionaries waiting to help take his stuff inside. He was very Excited to be going!

Courtney has always been my little buddy. He has the most kindest personality and is such a cute little boy. I really am going to miss him! I know that he will be such a great Missionary! I love you Bud!

He's not so little! He got all of the tall genes!

My brother inlaw just moved to McAllen this summer. It's Ryan Jensen, his wife and two kids. I think he's in a bishopbric too - I'll have to see what ward he is in. That's awesome
