The Gingerbread Festival!

The Gingerbread Festival is a big event here in Nebraska! It is on display the weekend after Thanksgiving till the New Year. There are two different displays. One at the Winter Quarters Visitor Center and the Kanesville Tabernacle. It is a good missionary opportunity to have people come in and be able to ask questions. We decided to come to the Kanesville Tabernacle display because that is where our ward's gingerbread houses were on display.

Isn't Hudson a cute gingerbread little boy?!

It was fun to see all the different houses. It was hard to pick a favorite! I loved the Necco roof on the house on the right.

This was our ward's display. It was themed "Picture a Rainbow Christmas" I like how each house was a different color!

I liked the roof on the house on the left... so bright and colorful! It was fun to see the Polar Express too!

We had such a fun night! Christmas is my favorite Holiday so it has been fun finding all the different Christmas events Nebraska has to offer! The Gingerbread Festival was one we will have to go to again next year!
