It was so fun to have my family in town for 5 days over Spring Break! We had so much fun together! We went to see the visitors center at the Winter Quarter's Temple the first day they were here!
Hudson had fun exploring with all the pioneer things on display inside the visitor's center!

They had little wagons and blocks specifically for kids to play with! He loved this!
They had little pioneer clothes for him to try on! I thought he looked so cute! He wanted them off the minute we put them on so this is the best picture we could get!
Some of the funnest times are just sitting around with my family talking and catching up! We all love technology.... so for a few minutes we all had to catch up with what was going on in the day! :)
On Monday we drove down to Kansas City for the day! This was Hudson's first Road trip and even though the drive was only 2 and 1/2 hours he barely made it! This little boy does not like the car! Thankfully we had the i-pad with us loaded with Mickey mouse clubhouse that he pretty much watched all the way home!
We stopped and saw Liberty Jail! It was neat to see some of the Church history sites in Kansas City.
We also stopped at Independence, Missouri but I didn't get any pictures there. After that we went Shopping! It was fun to shop around at some of the outlet malls they have there. We tried some real Kansas City BBQ for dinner which was yummy! It was a quick trip but I'm glad we were able to go!
Haley tried the whole time she was here to get a pic with Hudson but he would not have it! As soon as she picked him up I would get the camera ready but before we could snap the picture he was already trying to get out of her arms! Silly boy! Next time for sure!
We did lots of other fun things while they were here like shopping, eating out, walking around Old Market, going to the movies and so much more! My mom helped me make empanadas and my dad and Jeff hung my new shelf in my living room and helped with lots of other things around the house! He was lots of help!
So sad to see them leave! Hudson couldn't keep his eyes open on the way to the airport! He had so much fun playing with them! We miss them so much already and can't wait till the next time they come to visit! Thanks for making our Spring Break so fun! We love you!
