On Labor Day we went out to Ditmar's Apple Orchard. They had a really bad season this year because of the drought so there really wasn't any apples for us to pick.
I think it is so pretty out there. It is so nice to get away from the city sometimes and enjoy a different part of where we live! I love all the fields!
Right when you walk into the orchard there is a playground to play at so Hudson went running for that! He loved it!
He loves slides and had so much fun playing on a new playground.
They also had a big pit of corn for Hudson to play in! He loved it!
This is the tractor they use to give rides up to the tops of the orchards for you to pick apples.
Hudson thought it was pretty neat especially since he had the whole tractor to himself!
He seriously play on it for like 20 min! He loved climbing up and down and running all around!
They have a cute little store where you can buy apples and lots of jams and jelly's!
We ended our trip with some popcorn and the best Root-beer ever! I even bought some to bring home with us! It is that good :) Even though we weren't able to pick any apples we had such a great time at the Orchard. I'm so glad we decided to go on a day that Jeff could come with us!
