Mother's day was such a great day this year! Jeff did such a good job of making it so special. I think Hudson some how knew it was my special day because he gave me so many little kisses all through out the day. He would drop whatever he was doing and would just run up and give me a kiss at the most random times. It was the cutest thing ever and I felt like he was really letting me know how much he loves me!
I love how he calls me "mommy." We went grocery shopping the other day and the whole time we were there he said "mommy, mommy, mommy" up and down every aisle non stop for 30 min and I loved every minute of it.
I love how he thinks my kisses have the special touch. If he falls down and I kiss his knees better he immediately stops crying and it is like it never happened.
I love the special time at night that I get to rock him to sleep in our rocking chair. We talk about all the fun things we did that day and what we have to look forward to in the morning. I love how he falls asleep on my shoulder. He has the sweetest little face when he is asleep. Little moments like these are so magical and I am so lucky he is my little boy!
Hudson came at the perfect time in my life... moving away from home was one of the hardest things I have done. Having Hudson with me everyday is just what I needed to make me so happy! I look forward to every morning to spend the day with him. Everyday I feel so lucky to have him as my little boy.
I am grateful for days like today that focus on the wonderful gift of Motherhood. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be a mom!
