Utah!

Hudson and I took a quick last minute trip to Utah last week! We had so much fun!

Jeff had to stay and work so I was going to be flying alone with Hudson. He is a little bit of a handful these days, so i made sure to pack lots of stuff in my bag just in case... I think I may have over packed a   little bit :) He slept the for the first hour on the way there and then watched the movie Cars. On the way home he slept the WHOLE way! I was so shocked! I don't know what i was so worried for!

I had been dying to see the new City Creek Shopping Center so as soon as we landed we stopped by and shopped and had lunch! I loved it! Hudson loved the water fountains they had in the middle! This was such a great mall!

I was able to spend an afternoon with one of my best friends! We went to lunch, shopped, and talked talked talked! It was so great to catch up with her! Can't wait till we live closer to each other!

One afternoon we got lunch and took it up to Rock Canyon Park so Hudson could run around while we ate. 

There was a tractor there that he loved playing on. 

Of course he Loved the park! This little boy is obsessed with slides and just exploring everything around him! Once he found it he didn't want anything more to do with lunch. 

One night we got together with Jeff's family for dinner. It was fun to talk with them and let them spend time with Hudson.

I couldn't wait to go to Cafe Rio. It was so so good! I was able to squeeze it in a few times we were there and it was great! There are so many places I miss eating at and we were able to go to quite a few of them while i was there!

It was such a fun trip and just what I needed to get me through the rest of the summer before we can go back and visit in August! Hudson loved spending time with his Grandparents and it was so fun to watch them interact. I makes me sad that they miss out on watching him grow up while we are out in Nebraska. Only one more year till we are back and we can spend lots more time together. 

Thanks Mom and Dad for such a fun trip! Can't wait to see you in August!
